I had some problems with uninstalling adblock plus, and I decided to reinstall whole browser (apt-get --purge osso-browser microb-engine microb-eal and apt-get install osso-browser microb-engine microb-eal).

But that also removed email application (modest) and conversations (SMS) application. Installing modest again was easy but unfortunately I am not sure what is the name of conversations application and that why I am not able to reinstall it...

Could anyone help?

How did you come to know that? Is there somewhere a link with the names of the applications?

Probably something like that:

Code:
[user@n900 hildon]% cd /usr/share/applications/hildon
[user@n900 hildon]% grep -i conversations *
rtcom-messaging-ui.desktop:Name=messaging_ap_conversations
[user@n900 hildon]% grep '^Exec=' rtcom-messaging-ui.desktop
Exec=/usr/bin/rtcom-messaging-ui
[user@n900 hildon]% dpkg -S /usr/bin/rtcom-messaging-ui
rtcom-messaging-ui: /usr/bin/rtcom-messaging-ui
[user@n900 hildon]%

Nice! Didn't know the command.
I knew this because i had messed around with the hildon.menu file to create my custom menu layout a while back.I had simply opened the .desktop file through ssh to verify if it was right for Lantti's question.
You opened the same file through terminal which i didn't know before how to.So thanks
