Hi
I'm trying to make a list of j2me apps compatible, similar to the preenv one, so that you can check whether an app runs on N900
I've made a wiki page: http://wiki.maemo.org/Microemulator/Compatibility
If you can, test the j2me you've got and/or post fixes for some apps.
I'll update the list as soon as some new apps are checked

Which?
Microemulator is installable from extras. Use your favourite application manager or via terminal
Code:
sudo apt-get install microemulator
You'll need sudser for it
Or if you prefer rootsh
Code:
root
apt-get install microemulator
Midlets are run from microemulator
Menu > Microemulator > file > open midlet (file/url)
And then <OK> button

the using microemu-jsr-82 stuff I did by:
Code:
microemulator -libraryjars /opt/maemo/usr/share/microemulator/lib/microemu-jsr-82.jar

Microemu supports 240x320 natively.
I think some lower resolution apps may work too. But they should be tried with resizing (with manifest.mf editing too)

It supports only Java Micro Edition (for mobile phones such as SE K- or C- series) or non-symbian nokia xpressmusic

here's on it more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_Pl..._Micro_Edition

Here is posted profile for 640x360, but it has wrong description (in device.xml), which is "Symbian S60 Style Device 240x360" instead of "Symbian S60 Style Device 640x360". I corrected this in attached file.
Attached Files
File Type: zip microemu-n900-640x360.zip (189.4 KB, 121 views)

Seems nice, I'll try it out!

Marmistrz, you are asking me too much , because I didn't create this file, nor I know how to program.
What I corrected was just trivial (cosmetic) issue.
