Hi,

Itīs nice that nowadays also other browsers have adopted Operas(has had this functionality for years) ability to save forms cache data so you do not have to rip your pants when webpage doesn't answer and going back clears forms. (ctrl-c form before posting is bit lame)

So whatīs going on? Am I the only one having packet loss and connection problems to talk.maemo.org?(from school and from home) I have used quite many forums and right now things don't look good.

Besides flaky repository servers, this is just not acceptable (if it happens on other people too). Of course this is free and there is no ads but still. No offence to parties involved but man sometimes I feel like these webpages/servers are build with blu tack, wire , glue, duck tape and MacGyver pocketknife. Also maybe little holy spirit and some mad FOSS evangelist that want's to experiment his own little CMS project

btw. What is that webpage/service that helps you to monitor quality of service on specific webpage by listing ping rates and downtimes.

I also have connection problems today (only maemo talk). Two thirds of all clicks end with "website does not respond"

At the afternoon the forums were down for maintainance. Maybe those aren't finished yet.

EDIT:
@Reggie: I needed four attempts now to send this post ... Always get "network timeout".

I did make some changes on the server's config today, restated it, as well as optimize the database. I did this about 4-5 hours ago.

Hmm, I don't see any problems with the server now. I'm not experiencing any problems accessing the site as well.

This has been filed as a bug: https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10111

It looks like it is isolated and only to those passing through cogentco.com.

Anyone else experiencing the timeouts?

http://just-ping.com/index.php
http://www.watchmouse.com/en/ping.php
To this webpage: forums.internettablettalk.com

HI, today t.m.o seems to be a little slow sometimes but no real time out so far... If tmo keeps this stable within the next 24 hours I close the bug as "worksforme".

Don't please, I'm having the same issues still :P

EDIT: Also passing through cogentco, not getting any mail from talk.maemo.org either. Probably because both my MX and my backup MX are on the same ISP as me (ie passing through cogentco).
