Well one thing buddy, Is that the N900 was not targeting ASIAN countries yet. Therefore its explaining the lack of key input language support. It will soon be supporting most languages but you will have to wait until everyone get their phone in USA, UK, europe, middle east first. Otherwise you will have to hack it to work. Customising the keyboard just like windows.

Nokia expect America speaking English that's why it only got ENGLISH..

software for that may be available later. However, you should expect the NAM version phone to be english if you're in the US. Not only chinese here in the US, what about Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese etc.. anyways just hang in there

This thread was started to talk about Japanese language support, but there is info on Chinese as well. You may find it useful.

when they dont plan on releasing the n900 in asia, its obvious why there is no support for asian languages.

the asian community should write a letter to nokia...

You can't be serious. 30 percent of Americans' mother tongue is Spanish. Another 10% Chinese. What are you talking about?

That the mother tongue of this country is English? What are YOU talking about? Next thing you know it's logical for the Germans to be speaking Spanish because they have 40% Spanish immigrants in Germany.
