Weird, never heard of Jainist atrocities, maybe when pacifism and non-violence is so built into your ideology that you sweep the ground you step on to not hurt any ants it can work (yeah, buddist massacres are quite known, but never heard of jainist examples, so there, at least one)

Clinton is pandering for minority and female votes whilst Sanders is asking voters to think. In this modern age wherein everything has to be hand fed to the audience, asking them to think - minority or not - is a dangerous tactic to employ (read: voters do not like to think).
