hmm, sounds like a bad memory card then.

i have suspected something similar here, as dmesg shows a near constant stream of memory card power corrections, or something like that...

Thanks, will try that... but I've always been fine with swap ever since OS2005 up to Chinook (included).

You mean this kind ? :
Code:
menelaus 1-0072: Setting voltage 'VMMC' to 3000 mV (reg 0x0a, val 0xb8)
I have some of those too. But almost all my dmesg entries (especially since the last SSU) are thus :
Code:
EAC mode: play enabled, rec enabled
Which app does that ?
(and again, my SD and swap were fine with Chinook...)

I have the same problem with my n800 and os2008. I charge to a full charge . then i watch a video for about 45 minutes, after i leave the n800 alone to be in stand-by mode. After 6 hours in standby i get battery low . my battery is new .
i think is a problem with standby mode....

normally only 2 days stanby...

yes, that's the enabling of the MMC power regulator

And this is the interface to the audio codec which does the pcm decoding.

I added my vote. The problem is quite a bit older than I thought - I only started seeing after I flashed the first version of Diablo. Both my N8x0 were OK under Chinook.
