Yes, I have already seen this thread: Fixing USB port, before and after it is to late. (All info in one Thread) (See POST #1)



Above there is a picture on how mine looks.



This is how oh2btg fixed his USB.
I'd like to know if he did anything wrong, as apparently mipo's fix was FATAL, and that one is based on mipo. (mipo's fix)

oh2btg's fix involves ripping out a part of the metal cage around the eMMC and USB PHY, presumably because his USB pads were totaled.

On your device, you could melt off the solder and remains of the old USB port, stick a new port in there, then solder it down.

Just make sure to clean up nicely.
