QAD WLAN Password Recovery

Recover the lost wlan password from your mobile handset.

Features
  • reads the plaintext password from the mobile handset
  • displays a table of wlan, security mode and password

Note
This application does NOT use any decryption or anything special features, it does not even include an aegis file. It only reads those passwords which are stored in plain text. You can NOT recover a password to a wlan in which you have not been connected earlier.

Juhapekka, you are becoming my personal hero. You stuff is small, efficient and feature minimalist excellent looks. If only QAD cleaner was available for free in a .deb file everything would be perfect. Thanks for your work!

The comment about .cab is just plain scary

..do not worry, we do not live in a perfect world and we have .deb

I try to provide most of the stuff for free, but in order to pay the diapers for the geek 1.0, i need to get some revenue from the applications which are not necessarily the most geekiest ones. ^^

There is a bug in the app. It shows only first fist 9 signs of one of my passwords. The 10th sign is "<" and neither it is shown, nor any other sign after it.

Also, an empty space after the encryption method and the password could also be useful for clarity.

Don't worry about that. I meant and were thinking about .deb, obviously. Just typed something else. A weird typo, so to say.

More likely the issue is that I am using Text.RichText format in QML Label.

I will redo the UI for better usability at the next weekend.
