Same here as well. Might just be placebo effect, but I think that automatic closing/opening of the screen and lid works better if the tablet is held in a portrait position. Landscape I think works less often. Maybe the magnet in the Lastu case is positioned wrongly?

My Lastu cases arrived today! Took 18 days from time of order (Finland to USA). The Curly Birch is pretty! Thanks for advice and thanks Hitech Design!

Yes, the lastucase is very nice and the soft fabric (or is it leather?) protects the screen well.

All in all I am very happy with my tablet (which I am using now to post from train while commuting)

I was over the fact i'm not getting the tablet until you said this. I was hoping the experience with the lastu case would be like that.

Unfortunate that i won't be able to huff away at my tablet with you guys.

You don't need the tablet to huff away at the Latsu case! I suggest that Gerbick take at least two wiffs of his lastu case before responding to Dave999's posts. It will have a nice calming effect on him. just kidding

My Display does not shut off with the Lastucase, as well… other than that (and the almost sharp top and bottom edges in portrait mode; I'll have to sand it a bit) it is one of the most beautiful cases I've seen.
I agree, the haptics and, yes, the smell of the leather is really, really nice.

I wouldn't bet too much on its protective capabilities in the event of sudden gravity, though. It's pretty thin.
