I'm a believer! Always have been, always will be! Congrats, Nokia! You can see we're not the only ones who think the 770 is wonderful.

There are some implicit awards here as Daniel & Roger have noted...

The 770 customer base, the maemo crew (Matthew at o-hand.org), the Nokia team, the Estonian factory workers, Reggie here @ ITT, all the 770 bloggers and anybody else who has been involved all deserve awards. You are all deserving of praise for your support. We're all building a better future because we've all shown that the future is embedded networked devices as well as it is open community product development & refinement. We may not be able to predict the future but we can sure as hell make it somewhat the way we want it to be - need it to be.

Nokia pulled it off! If they delayed the 770 a few days more, it wouldn't have been nominated, and it won't beat the PS3 as the most anticipated device for 2006!

Nokia's fast firmware updates also helped a lot. I hope they realize that. The updates made a substantial difference in the 770's stability and useability.
