I successfully mounted Nokia N95 in Mass storage mode, meanwhile PC Suite mode didn't work.

Hi guys,
I was looking for stylish cable for h-e-n project and I found many different kinds but all of them looked ugly in my eyes, so I decided to buy INCOMPATIBLE one form N8 - CA-157 square one, and give it a try ( I knew it wont fit first )
So here are what I did:
You only need key-file (small needle file for metal) TOOL and DESIRE!
Make sure that it fits easily, do not apply much pressure when you connect it to N900 port, compare with your stock/charger cable! If it's not fit easily then continue with the file tool until it fits nicely!

Even ID PIN is detected now
dmesg when cable is connected
Code:
tw14030_usb tw14030_usb: HW_CONDITIONS 0x54/84; link 3
You can give it a try if you want!

The other cable on the picture is bundle one it came with my device part.# CA-101D

For tose of you that do not want to play with file tool you can look this one: ARCHOS 7 OTG or this

NOT offtopic: I deleted all of my unnecessary post here: You should do the same! And my be that will bring back the developers here!

mveplus,
btw. Where did you get that other lengthy cable? Did it come with N900? Mine is mighty long.

Are you sure it is a problem with the kernel? I haven't tested it with the latest power kernel yet, but with the version in extras it works perfectly.
I think the problem is caused by the BT-HID scripts. BT-HID support is not compatible with the PS3 controller program. But you can disable the BT input profile and thus enable the playstation controller compatibility. (as explained in the topic start of the bt HID scripts)

what happens if you run "set-bt-input off" as root in a terminal?
After that the playstation controller should work
