Looks good and slim too. I am sure nokia will step up it's game with regards to dimensions . The n900 is quite chubby. It would be great if Nokia transfered some of it's feature phone design skills it's smartphone. Imagine a smartphone that's shaped like the gorgeous nokia 6500classic. Yum yum.

Just checked out the videos. This will probably be my chic phone with the n900 as my geek phone. Sony Ericsson feature phones never let me down with the k800 being the most reliable and capable I have ever owned. Once they release a keyboard version, I switch.

The iPhone has almost the exact same dimensions:

Height: 4.5 inches (115.5 mm)
Width: 2.4 inches (62.1 mm)
Depth: 0.48 inch (12.3 mm)

And the same size 3.5" screen as the n900. The SE XP3 has a bigger one, that was the point

I know it's only conceptual, but... holy sh*t.
What? You never seen the Xperia X1 concept/adverts showing off its panels interface? They were equally as smooth but in reality it was not even close and omitted the several seconds of delay before each panel actually loaded.

If you notice in the pictures, the screen is noticeably longer than that of the iPhone. Since screen size is a diagonal measurement, it seems entirely plausible.

Comparing in portrait, the N900 screen appears to be very very slightly longer than that of the iPhone (but possibly not as you cannot really see for certain in photos) and a tad narrower, losing the whole signal strength meters worth of width.

Thrilled with Rachael as well.

I'm playing the wait-and-see game right now.

Maybe I'll be getting this one instead on the N900, cause of:

- SE usualyy make phones 100% compatible with brazilian bands (if the N900 doens't get a regionalized version here - what I doubt - no 3G in my region);

- I have a very good track owning SE phones. It's one of my favorite brands.

According to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_UMTS_networks
Seems like all the major Brazilian carriers use the usual 2100MHz frequency for all or some of their 3G networks, so you're probably good to go with the N900. Of course, you should check with your local provider to be sure.

Looks like Nokia will pay quite a price for late release of N900.
The smartphone Market is so cut throat now. You snooze you lose. The North American dream will remain farfetched for nokia.
Not that I care. Nokia can delay all they like, I will wait.
