hi guys bit of help please, over the last two days my phone has been losing signal to the point where i get an icon of a sim card with a red stripe through it, first thing i did was try one of my back ups with no luck. Then earlier i flashed my phone(global pr1.2) still with no luck? i havnt messed with anything like overclocking or xterminal things because i just dont know what to do lol, any help to get my phone back up and running would be great

p.s on vodafone and have tried sim card in other phone and have full signal

IMHO
step 1) Install the sim card in another cell phone and make some calls

if step 1) is a success goto step 2 else get a new simcard

step 2) make sure the firmware image being flashed is the correct one for your region and is the latest version, for e.g. the correct file name for US is ''RX-51_2009SE_3.2010.02-8_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM''

step 3) flash the latest and correct image for your cell phone using the command line flasher too.

still no look, is it looking more of a physical fault than a software/firmware fault do you think? i.e something is broken lol

well if the sims working in other phones, yet other sims dont work in yours, and you've flashed the firmware then a hardware problem would be my best guess. then again i'm no expert!
