Hi, I updated my device (first one) after a reset.
And I did not find a list of needed steps (number of and names of steps) so I wrote them down:

List of Sailfish OS firmware update steps (stop releases):
Code:
steps in 1.x

1.0.0.5 Kaajanlampi
1.0.2.5 (1.0.2-10.12.5.jolla) Maadajävri
1.1.2.16 Yliaavanlampi
1.1.7.28 Björnträsket
1.1.9.30 Eineheminlampi
2.0.0.10 Saimaa
Code:
steps in 2.x

2.0.0.10 Saimaa
not on Jolla1?, but at least on JollaC/AquaFish!: 2.0.5.6 Haapajoki
directly to (latest)
2.2.0.29 Mouhijoki
3.0.0.8 Lemmenjoki
Code:
steps in 3.x

3.0.0.8 Lemmenjoki
3.2.0.12 Torronsuo
3.4.0.24 Pallas-Yllästunturi
...
Code:
steps in 4.x

...
No more, no less.

Info is (was?) also available here (they call it stop releases):
https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/a...le_site=true#4
https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/a...e_site=false#4

But release names are missing, so above is definitely more informative

Maybe this fits also this topic. There is a sfos-upgrade script on openrepos in case you missed it. So far I didn't try because atm I have no need for it.

Indeed, it does.
I stumbled upon it just today and it is the place where I found my above link

AFAICS also:
3.0.0.8 Lemmenjoki
(not on Jolla's list yet)

BTW, sfos-upgrade uses both sources (above list and an extract of Jolla's webpage) for checking if one tries to jump over a "stop release".

Just wondering, if there have been any Jolla 1's with factory images below v1.0.0.5. Looking at the SFOS mailing list archives from 2013, it seems that earlier versions were only released as SDK and named Alpha-*.

Right. (and it was one of the 'First Ones')

Just wondering, if there have been any Jolla 1's with factory images below v1.0.0.5.
IDK
