Yes. If you have OS2008 on your device, why did you use this:
deb http://repository.maemo.org/ bora free non-free
I think you have to replace bora to chinook.

OK thank you....please remember it works fine as long as I do NOT install the "Cherck for Updates" update.

I uninstalled the previous version and installed the program from the Application Program and rebooted. Only this way I was able to get the new version.

However, the "current weather" doesn't work, it shows a "?" question mark. Is there a way to solve this?

Other than that and the occasional delay/problem in the weather updating process, I find the widget just beautiful. It also made the Tablet more appealing to my better half :-)

This happened to me too on mthe new N800 that I got for my wife, and I was perplexed wny on my N810 it shows the currect weather for all 5 days but in the N800 it showed ony 3 days and with rest 2 days as '?'.

Ultimately I relasied the location in Date time control was not set properly on the newer N8100, and instead of pointing to NY Easter Time, it was set to London time - while the Station I gave in OMWeather was for NY region.

This mismatch results in getting only weather for 3-4 days and not all 5 days. Yours might be the same reason.

Thanks nilchak. I checked the Date and Time settings and they are fine. I am too in the NY area. The source of the problem may be different.

BTW I forgot to mention that I have a N810.

Hi Antonio.
Please send me your config file (/var/lib/gconf/apps/maemo/omweather/%gconf.xml), and tell me what city set as home in clock applet.

Hi Vaslvlad,

here goes a file. I had to zip it because of limitations in the types of files you can upload. The home city in the clock application is New York. I use Princeton, Washington and Rome in OMWeather.

Vasvlad;

I have 2 08 800's with the "same" weather app on both. 19.4. From what I can see, the apps are configured identically.

On both I have 2 icons showing (same zip codes).

Unit 1 works fine - shows me site selections, and the current weather, tonights and tomorrow. When I hit the current icon, I see now, day, and night.

Unit 2 does NOT show me site selection (it will take zip codes) and does NOT show current. When I hit the first icon (night) I get night and next day. If I click "show only current weather..", nothing shows up in the expanded box and I get a ?

Weird !
