Just note that you mean the touchscreen and not the LCD. They are advertised in various places and most will be new but fakes. Best bet is find repair shops locally that may sell 2nd hand stuff recovered from broken phones.

You can (ebay, alibaba etc) but the quality will be uncertain AFAIK. There have been posts in the forum on this topic.

yeah, I bought a couple of fakes, don't work, and really look different from the original part. This one though, is very good: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nokia-N900-T...item5ae3131ac7

It comes with the outer rim, frame and IIRC the speaker, so that you don't have to do difficult disassembling. The original frame is so well glued to the digitizer that is really hard to take it out without inadvertently distorting it.

The plastic is also polarized like the original, and unlike most cheap replacements. Weirdly it came with black tape over nokia logo. Go figure.

What is a good but not so expensive screen protector?
I draw a lot on my N900 so If I am gonna buy a new touchcreen, I will buy a decent screen protector too.
Off eBay, of course.
I'll make something happen soon so I will be able to buy from eBay, and I didn't buy anything yet from eBay, blabla.
Thanks

Do not use HKrepairparts on Aliexpress or if they have an ebay handle for that matter. They will just churn you through the system and you will not receive a refund. Video evidence plus checking on a known good n900 (ie 2 different n900s) will not help you. Second bad touchscreen first cable was too thick for the connector (but got a refund on that one) then hkrepairparts and aliexpress bs..
