We have started a new project to allow sharing accounts for command-line applications to be added:

https://garage.maemo.org/projects/sharing-cli/

In short, this means that when the plugin is finished, it will be possible to upload photos to a server using SSH (SCP/SFTP) and FTP, amongst other services.

Read the full proposal here:

http://lists.maemo.org/pipermail/mae...ry/023349.html

I'm currently waiting for clarification in the documentation, see https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7776

Any help is greatly appreciated

Awesome! Guess I'll have to update my CLI MMS-sender now

Problem with fMMS? Run in x-terminal: cp /tmp/fmms.log /home/user/MyDocs/
After that you'll see fmms.log in filemanager or when you connect the device to your desktop as a mass storage device.
E-mail the log to me, if you don't have the email address, drop me a PM. Thanks!

Tuomas Kulve has uploaded his version of the plugin to the Git repository about two weeks ago: https://garage.maemo.org/projects/sharing-cli/

Dead in the sense that there's been no new updates for awhile now. But I've been using the plugin for the whole time and even though it's really simple and missing all the error handling etc. it's working decently.

I've also been using it; compiled it from source from the repo. Works quite well. Just needs the polishing to make it Extras-friendly (in the sense that error handling should be included, etc..). Maybe I'll find some time during summer. Until then, use the source!

I've now pushed this to extras-devel.
