Hey guys

I mixed up some things and now I have LOCK SCREEN widget that will lock the device every time I go to the destop containing this widget. I tried to remove this from command list but it didn't work. When I remove the widget from destop and then remove command from dcew menu and try again add another widget this one is show and do the same.

Is there a way to remove it directly from app database?

Or do something that will help?

Hey,
I do not really understand.

You remove it from desktop, then in decw menu you need to edit/delete it.
If it is not deleted then it is shown again, of course. But there should be also commands to be selected. Or is this the only one?

You may tinker with
/home/user.dektop_cmd_exec
but I remember some problems doing so (cannot remember what exactly, sorry)

No this is not the only one. Let's say the broken one command is the seventh in DCEW menu. At this time I deleted all the widgets from from desktops. Also deleted the seventh command from menu.
Now I'm adding widgets again. One by one in sequence. And it goes like this:
First widget is automatically assigned tho the first command in menu, second gets the second one and so one. To the moment when I have six widgets everything is ok. But when I'm adding seventh widget it gets the seventh command even when it was deleted before! So the problem reappears. When I go to the screen when the widget is placed it locks the screen right away. After unlocking I have a fraction of a second to delete it before it will lock the screen again.

Sorry if I wasn't clear at the first time.

Now it is more clear

Probably a corrupted config (/home/user/.desktop_cmd_exex)?
I once had to start anew, too (do not remember whether after fiddling with it or just out of the blue.

Best would be to check that file after deleting all.all.commands (it should be empty, or almost empty).
I may attach a original 'blank' file a bit later ...
... and here it is (gzipped)
Attached Files
File Type: gz desktop_cmd_exec.gz (586 Bytes, 70 views)

Got it worked out, it wasn't to hard :P

I removed the app, removed the content of desktop-cmd-exec file and installed app again - everything is back to the starting point, like fresh app instalation.

Thanks Community! Especially you, peterleinchen
