Best wishes.
I think only a svn server exists, here: http://www.navit-project.org/ (at the bottom of the page)

Hello! Recently Navit Team released RC1

This is the long awaited 0.5.0 RC1 release. This release includes way too many changes for them to be listed here, but one of the key feature is the rewrite of the navigation engine.

Some translations might not be completed at the time of this release. If you spot a mistake or a missing translation, please let us know : http://wiki.navit-project.org/index.php/Translations

If you are using Android, you can become a beta tester : https://play.google.com/apps/testing...tproject.navit

Feedback is welcome!
i just took source from http://sourceforge.net/projects/navi...s/v0.5.0-rc.1/

Is that rewrite something that was not present in the previous builds? Thanks for the upload!

Now a second release candidate of Navit is out. this RC2 includes a new renderer, based upon Cairo instead of GDK ( check http://trac.navit-project.org/attach...-gdk-cairo.png to see the improvements! ). it seems to render better curved lines, i'll try to build for maemo

Navit team switched from autotools to cmake. They managed to build with cmake for maemo too! Is the latest version with Cairo and It's finally available in maemo extras-dev repos!

Try to install navit directly from official maemo extras-dev repos, there is an updated version
