Hey all I'll thank you in advance for replying. A while ago my N9's screen shattered and I decided to try out the BB10 platform (Z10). Since then I've fixed my N9 and was surprised to see that Nokia has dropped support and shut the store down. I was wondering how feasible it would be to get a different OS on my N9 (Sailfish or Nitdroid) in order to have access to different App stores. I would be happy with just the Amazon Appstore as all I really need is KIK and maybe snapchat. Also, how difficult is the process of flashing a new OS onto the N9? I dont have a ton of time to research everything on my own and college is right around the corner again so anyone who could sort of guide me through the process would be appreciated tremendously

Forgot to say that I'm over the Z10 (though its nice). I just cant resist the N9's style, camera and especially the screen. Forgot how nice haptic feedback is as well.

Nitdroid is your only choice then. But beware you CANT make or receive voice calls!
You can still have Dual boot, so you can restart your phone into normal MeeGo Harmattan again to make calls

Thanks guys. Keep in mind that I am almost a complete noob (still trying to figure out how the hell to do the Emojifix). How hard would it be to get my Nokia N9 to dualboot Nitdroid using Ubiboot? I figured out how to get Maps and Drive to work and I'm not the dumbest person ever but I am seriously naive at using Terminal. Worth the effort? Is there a step by step guide anywhere. It seems like everyone here is a damn wizard I can barely understand what some posts are saying...

Also, Nitroid forums seem to be down. Is this going to be a problem for me?
