This is just my hunch, no product or anything have been announced.

Personally I don't really care about any phones other than the galaxy note series (for primary smaphone ofcourse).
BUT, if we see a phone that looks like the n9 but with somewhat modern specs and full screen design (just the current glass area of the phone), there is no way in hell that I won't buy it day one!
I don't care if it has a sliding hwkb, swiss knife or whatever. You just can't pass on that!

I still fail to see the issue here. What does this related with display pixel?

Also screen when lifted (not attached to bottom, not fully open) it's will move very slightly as you shown. This is the same as Nokia E7 and N950. Basically if that is fully tighten you cannot open the slider, it will be too tight. In fact screen should only has two states and probably shouldn't be used with the state in between.

So the slight play in the slider is normal then? Huh, interesting.

Here's two good pics of the dead/stuck pixel:

Is that the green dot on the icon? I will PM you to get the display replaced. First time to see it but good to know so I can feedback the supplier and we will check more strict.

This is part of the design. As I said if tighten up you can't open the slider. And E7 and N950 does the same.

It's somewhat hard to see on the video but if you are talking axial play as in the side of the screen facing the keyboard tilting up and away from the keyboard while the opposing side goes down... It is indeed necessary for the type of slider to work and the spring force has to be somewhat relaxed at the outer positions of the opening/closing movement to allow it to be possible to comfortably opened and closed.

Like if you press the top of the screen towards you (from landscape point of view), the bottom side of the screen should move up from the keyboard as part of the closing motion, thus rotating slightly. But if not applying any pressure in that direction, it should gently be spring loaded against the device, if it is loose and rattles just by moving the device I guess that'd indicate something wrong. At least that's how I think it works (edit: so tell if i am wrong chen / actual pro1 owners ).

As I would love to answer the question here, but I can't guarantee I am quick enough. We do have dedicated person standby for any help. So if there are things uncertain with please PM or email me as I can't make sure I follow/answer here quick enough.

BTW will arrange a screen replacement, should be a 5 mins work to replace. (And will check with supplier to check stricter)
