Is there a way to get it working on OS 2007 (N800)?

Apparently this guy got it working a while ago:
http://plaes.org/blog/2007/02/15/openttd-on-n800/

Here he explains the procedure and provides a patch(for the source):
http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.p...464&hilit=n800

Ok, I made it

Patch is here..

And somewhat crappy picture can be seen on my blog...

In order to build it under Scratchbox you have to make the symlink from os/debian to debian, then run dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot and it hopefully works for you.

Also you need an updated ARM toolchain in order to build it for N800 itself. The official Nokia provided one crashes with internal compiler error
I have no idea how to apply the patch or what version of source should be used. Maybe someone with the toolchain installed and some compiling experience(beyond ./configure->make->make install) could help here?

OpenTTD runs without a problem on the n800 you only can not install it directly with the application manager. But you have to do it manual:

dpkg -i openttd_0.4.7jtra-1_armel.deb

Non-free data files are expected to reside at /media/mmc1/openttd/data/ (sample.cat, trg1r.grf, trgcr.grf, trghr.grf, trgir.grf and trgtr.grf)

You can find the OpenTTD shortcut in the start menu. Everything works for me except the midi music. So no need for a patch or other difficult ways!

Probably going to sound like a real newbie, but I tried dpkg -i openttd_0.4.7jtra-1_armel.deb in X Terminal. I had to instal the become root package to make it work (from the XFCE topic).

It all seamed to work as intended, but now. How do I run openttd?

Uhh.. I'm having trouble. I got the package from the site provided, I go into File Manager and open it. It comes up like any other package, it opens up Application Manager and says that its Incompatible or something. I can't help but feel I'm missing something altogether. Are there any like Step By Step instructions or anything?
