im pretty furstrated here . after trying the step by step instrutions for os2008 flip screen on this fourm . half way through the setup i found out the easy 6 steps are outdated and have broken links

found here http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=17842

now my n810 is a wont boot. the nokia sign lights up with the white background when i plug it into the wall. if i unplug the charger its just a black screen and wont turn on. thats as far as i can get no other buttons do anything. i cant get past the white screen . when i unplug the charger it goes dead .

i tryed taking the battery out over night. no results

is there anything i can try?

Reflash the Nokia kernel only, and try again using these instructions.

Edit: To reflash the kernel, you'll need to use flasher-3.0, not the Windows flasher.

Reflash the kernel, as I already said.

Benson's method would have saved your data. But, reflashing the system still works I guess...

A nice reminder of my opinion to consolidate install info into the first post of an install thread so stuff like this doesn't happen. Especially with threads that have 400+ posts to it.

Or just forget the install threads and point people to the wiki pages.

I?m stuck at this step:

it says app-get not found

I'm running diablo on an n810 and I used the code for the n810

EDIT: n/m figured out how to copy paste the command

That'd be apt-get.
