Hello. My problem is that hildon-home is not responding about every 10 hours (application shorcuts are not working, but rest of system are good).
I DO NOT have any widget!
How I can view log for that hildon-home, to find the problem? Syslog?

My /home/user/.config/hildon-desktop/home.plugins are completly empty.
hildon-home is for widgets, I have no widgets, so WHY THIS process takes a lot cpu after some time? Apllets also runs inside hildon-home?

Found that some applets just must have .so files in /usr/lib/hildon-desktop/
Trying to remove them one by one to watch on cpu load

Thanks, I found some applets in /usr/lib/hildon-desktop/
I have removed this:
- custom operator name widget
- advanced network switcher

Problems seems to be solved, Thank you!

On my N900 it happens when I try to manually update the "Other Maemo Weather" applet on the desktop and the only way of stopping it is to reboot the device. Once I've tried an kill hildon-home and it restarted but then all my widgets and applets disappeared, only the shortcuts were left. So now when it happens I simply restart the phone.

I have custom operator name widget installed too but I don't think that it has something to do with it in my case.

It would be good to fix this hildon-home bug, but I don't now if it is fixable.
