Awkward. Third time installed.
Rebooted.
Time and date were correct.
Went to Time in Settings.
Switched off auto set of time, then switched it back on again.
Connections work now.

Not sure what to think or feel.

How do you uninstall the 3g fix because removing Nokia links didn´t do the trick. My connection is worse then ever after the update.

I don't know but i had the same problem.
I removed Nokia Link update and then installed aceso-iso_0.1.13+0m8_all.deb with apt-get and now it seems to work.
It also seems to fix GPS it finds position a lot faster now.

confpp is a dependency of aceso-iso iirc so you either keep both or remove both. Of course you can grab both then edit the status file to remove the dependency while risking a MALF if you don't know what you are doing...

For what we know confpp may at installation just 'flick some switch' in the 3G/GSM modem section and exit, so if your hope is to return the device to the condition before the upgrade of Nokia Link by uninstalling it, it may not have the desired effect.

So no one knows how remove the fix without reflashing?

Of course there are people who know it, but nobody is ever going to tell you. All you need to know is that it's a binary piece of SW that modifies the configuration of a binary running on non-accessible location of your device.
For all your concerns, this might well be happening on the other side of the moon.

It may well be so that you cannot restore the original modem configuration by reflashing the device.

imho you can do this conf update by your own. Select option in settings of internet connection. Select proxy. Turn proxy to automatic. Yes it is default OFF. This is what I think it could be?
