Maybe a symlink to the existing libarchive may solve your problem?

Code:
 ln -s libarchive.so.? libarchive.so.12
Where the question mark is the number of the installed version of libarchive.

One device updated successfully. Other one said after reboot "Update available". Fingeterms reports 2.0.2.51 "Aurajoki". Trying to update it again. Updating third (maybe) after this second case is cleared.

Another update fixed second device.

Accessories (Apuohjelmat), or auxiliary settings menu does not open on either device. Or is there something I have not noticed, like distributing functionality from that sub-menu to other menus?

One of the devices says:
simkit
..blaa blaa blaa..
[D] StkOfonoUtils::registerSimToolkitUnsolicitedAgent: 67 - RegisterAgent error: "org.ofono.Error.InProgress" : "Operation already in progress"
Result is that the sim-application symbol does not show up in Applications list. I guess my mobile certificate won't work either. Bummer. The other phone (which updated without a hitch), does not have this problem, but there are differences between these two. The "no problems device" has less applications and no mobile certificate. Trying to reboot this, any other suggestions?

Hmmm... I'm really curious what happens, when I update my test devices this evening. Aurajoki was a Fiasco for me. It destroyed caldav for me and (but that wasn't the fault of jolla) the possibility to make calls with my car audio system, so I had to downgrade to the previous version.

The release notes sound really great for me and I hope, that I can hop on the newest release again, without sacrificing functionality.
