Actually, it is bad not only for Finland, but for the whole of Europe.
Europe losing it's last stand on technology is of course sad. Ten years ago Ericsson and Nokia ruled mobile world supreme. All lost now thanks to decade of arrogance and hubris. Saddest thing is that MS didn't even have to buy Nokia. That way at least some capital would have flown to Europe. Ballmer's brilliant move gave the crown jewel of Europe's technology to MS for free.
Back to growing potatos I guess.

What an idiot! Nokia could easily twist googles arm are and focus on making android what Nokia wants (or at least influence it ALOT).
One things for certain, I ain't gonna buy any shitty windows Nokia phone.

I just hope that nokia will release a meego phone every 1-2 years, or else it will be unpossible to feel another device like N900 
.......unless another new real Linux Mobile OS come up (something thats really rare and possibly wont happen soon...).
