LOL great thread.

On the outskirts of Chicago... so no.

Go 60mi south however, and the sky's lit up like a christmas tree. (ahh, city life )

For those who aren't aware, there is a meteor shower tonight.

Clouds + rain most of the night, and the moon isn't helping either. Oh well. Will try to take a few snaps tonight, if not, better luck next year

If you don't have any luck with actual stars, you can look at the Google logo for taday

normally I have the perfect view of the night sky here in Maui, Hawaii. But right now we are getting the effects of a Tropical storm. So nothing but clouds and rain for us.

...pretty good here in the bay area, low in the horizon and surprisingly close to the 1/2+ moon...
