Just wondering if anyone else has this minor annoyance.

I'm currently without proper broadband, so am having to tether my N900. In normal PC suite mode this means I can't SSH into it. Ideally I'd like to have the wifi properly active as a client to my access point elsewhere at the same time as the GPRS and ssh in that way...but that's another story entirely. Anyway.

If I switch to windows networking I can then ssh in, and with some simple unixy stuff I can share my connection and still ssh in. Great.

However, when I go back to unix networking, I can't get normal PC Suite mode back until I restart. It's quite annoying.

Anyone had/solved this?

(And incidentally, anyone noticed that mad developer doesn't seem to call ifup/ifdown on usb0...means my setup/tidyup scripts don't get called )
