Android phones now support network printing. HTC Sensation can print to my networked photo printer and laser printer without any issues wireless. It may even work on 3G if you forward the ports on the firewall, I haven't tested.

Is there any support for printing from N9? Current or future plans? It needs to be an OS wide support not just an app, I would think.

Enhancement request in the bug-tracker, do it properly though of course.
And you may get people voting and Nokia understanding what you're getting at etc.

Slarti,

That is great. I am not sure if this will print from native apps or from within just this app. There is no print option in native apps, like gallery or browser.

I am very interested to try it out and see how it works.

There is already a bug submitted for this.

Please vote for native printing support.

Depending on what you want to print, CloudPrint Plug-in works very well. You have to set it up for each printer you want, but it is very easy to use and done through the share-ui.

Seems like a cumbersome way to send your vacation pictures to the NSA... And it requires a paid app and some accounts with an advertisement company to do so.

IYAM, all this new cloud-stuff is just a poor reiteration of past (and better!) technology. The N95 was in some regards more advanced than the N9, and even more than many of todays "smart"phones. For half-on-topic example: out of the box it could print wirelessly via bluetooth to bluetooth-enabled printers.

/rant.

Doesn't appear to be anything related to printing on Hiro's website anymore (~2 years later). Should I assume that this app (whatever it was called) is now gone?
