I have 0.5.0+dfsg.1-1maemo1~6534 installed now, and apt-cache show suggests me 0.2.0~svn2916+dfsg.1-1maemo1.

bokomoko repo is stuck at 6012, so you have already the latest from maemo repos http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...-1maemo1~6534/

don't know why is so slow, maybe because of the new renderer Cairo

The repo version is "git 0.5.1+git:0000". Haven't tried it further, I am now downloading maps for it and after that need to adjust an navit.xml file if this is still correct.

Currently I am only seeing a yellow screen and an option screen appears when I click on it.
