you decide:

http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/hgffbjuimi./

also, what is a game doing under the Communications downloads for OS2008?:

EDIT: note that this issue has been explained and resolved (see post #20)!

You Sir, are just too kind :-).

No idea what is going on there, I find myself going to it less and less because it is so slow and poorly organized.

I am with stupid.

Decided to look at it on the n800 today since the clock (I go there off the PC browser generally, when I do go) looked like it might be useful.

Last time I did this was before I upgraded 2008. Now the main page doesn't display the same as it does on the PC (firefox). Just headers and categories on the n800.

Yes, I am pretty much convinced that nokia is not at all serious about these things. Even with a great community nokia is managing to make this less desirable as time goes on :-(.

If I can get the urge to do it, I still haven't figured out if a new version of an app equates to a new app. Checked it out a while back when there were about 60 apps and the number posted had very little to do with reality.

I think the community is going to have to take this over for it to have any chance at all. Seems nokia is just pushing people away and enjoying frustrating the customers / paying beta testers.

Thank the gods that this is a linux based device :-), otherwise when nokia quits pretending we would be SOL.

Don't file a bug on this unless you enjoy excuses.

And not filing bugs is expected to accomplish... what?

Also, that page looks to me to be just some developer screwing around. Occam's razor, indeed.

Normally I would, but I have productive work to be done rather than a full time job reporting bugs.

When I develop, I test and fix stuff myself and don't wait for everyone else in the world to do my work for me.

:-).
