Hello, I am utterly new here so take it easy please? Looking for info, if it's possible to simply plug in my 500 gb external hard drive to the n800 or n810 and use it for mass storage, (downloading etc).. Yes? no? Thanks.

search for "usb otg N800" or "usb otg N810" depending on the model you have on this forum using the google search.

@JFX: If your 500GB is formatted FAT32 and has an external power source (ac adapter) it should work if you have the right cable. (*Should* not *will*).

My 500Gb "MyBook" FAT32 works via USB (it is external power only).

Then this is fantastic news, I am looking for the smallest affordable solution for connecting to a Wifi ap and downloading needed large files but using my external WD 500 hard drive plugged into the machine for lots of storage. So if this N800 will do it, that's what I'm looking for.
