can anyone port this: http://digitalpaint.planetquake.gamespy.com/files/

its a modifeid quake 2, but with paintball, and its multiplayer online. As someone has allready ported quake, this shouldnt be too hard? and its linux version aswell.

if anyone could do it, it would be so cool!!

Took a look. Game seems to require OpenGL-support. Google told they dropped support for software rendering after build003. ("- Change: Dropped support for software rendering mode (go spend $20 on an OpenGL capable card if you don't have one!)") Didn't find a source for that build. If you can find it, I can take another look. Game compiled nicely so it could be possible, but speed/controls will be an issue. Also, I'm not sure a build that old is compatible with the latest build.

Okay, let me rephrase that:

This game was based on Quake 2 long time ago. And then it was portable. Now it is not.
