hi to all forum, i'm a new member and i have an n800. my name is kimiko and i'm italian. i have install hamachi, but it isn't start because tuncfg is off. then, underr root, i type tuncfg but xterminal write this : tuncfg permision denied. why? i read some threads of the problem but i can't find solution... incorrect installation? thanx in advance and excuse for my poor english

If you get tuncfg permission denied, then you probably are not in root. Make sure your prompt has "#" instead of "$".

Also make sure you have OS2008, as tuncfg needs some kernel extensions, I'm not sure if they are in OS2007.

ok, the solution is: under root, not type only tuncfg, but /sbin/tuncfg/tuncfg and start tunneling. probabily there are problems with permission, but for me is only important start tunneling in anyway. actualy, i can use hamachi with rdesktop, vnc and i can share files and folders with my winwows pc!!!! it's great vpn, thanks to all
