Fixed !
Updated version of Streamtuner for OS2008 now available. Please update to 0.99.99-11
http://maemo.org/downloads/product/OS2008/streamtuner/

I have no more build environment for 0S2007 and OS 2006.
N770 et N800 owners could use 2008HE which work pretty well.

Updated, cool - many thanks! <grin> I was actively using streamtuner when my shoutcast catagories suddenly went poof!

I have the latest version but still can't get the shoutcast categories to show up. I tried uninstalling and then installing again with no change. I get no error messages. The Xiph categories show up fine.

Any ideas how to fix this ?

Rone, did you press the 'Reload' button? That worked for me.

I did try the reload thanks.

The linked helped ,thanks. I deleted the cache and that did not fix it. I than launched streamertuner from the terminal window and Shoutcast refreshed fine.

Not Xiph today. I just updated my N800 to the latest OS2008 and downloaded the new Streamtuner -11 version. Shoutcast is working again just fine. But, when I RELOAD the Xiph from its server I get:

UNABLE TO RELOAD

Unable to parse XML document: input is not proper UTF-8,
indicate encoding!
Bytes 0xC7 0xD4 0xB7 0xC2

I can watch it download all the bytes it's looking for on reload. A couple of times I got:

UNABLE TO RELOAD

Failed to connect to 193.218.105.163: network is unreachable.

but when I tried again it downloaded to the same previous error, again. Doesn't matter whether I download from Alltel EVDO or my cable over wifi...

Anyone know someone at Xiph to fix their XML??

Open a ticket and they will fix this.
