Ok guys good new to all guy with a n810...

Next mouth or sooner we will have omap2420 datasheet "OPEN"

"TI Confirmation"

Any reference on that? Maybe it was a phone conversation or something, but if there's a press release, it'd make good reading.

this is also interesting for the N800, as except for the hardware keyboard and the gps, its the same internals iirc

From a quick google search, it seems that the n800 does also use a ti omap2420. I also recal reading that the n800 and n810 are practically the same internally. So, if this is true, then this is good news for n800 and n810 owners!

Yeah . . . the N810 is just an N800 with GPS, a keyboard and a transflective screen. :\

I already requested the API from TI, they recently released a gaming API which I assume has all files and documentation for the MBX chip as well.

Only once the IVA is up and running and someone writes some code to do the H.264 decoding... So not in the short term, but it's a start (assuming the docs do indeed appear).
