What about switching PhoneLink to use gammu instead of gnokii? It will enlarge list of supported phones...

to specify a model try hitting the button "Identify Phone"
if gnokii can't identify your phone try another rfcomm (1 .. )

hmmm.
notify an incoming call does not work...
n810, chinook, nokia 6230i
any suggestions?
(notify a sms does work)

can you give your setting (content of the gnokii-gconf applet window) ?

Is there more information in the Application Manager log (Tool/Log...) ?

well tried to download it through Maemo and had a popup saying operation failed, downloaded to my Pc transfered to the tablet installed with App manager operation failed, switch off / on tried again operation failled.
I just uninstall the old version to install this had the same error any ideas

This is the Log File: hildon-application-manager 2.1.16
/media/mmc1/My downloads/software/phonelink.install:key file contains line 'note' :dist is determined automatically by AppMgr' which is not a key-value pair, group, or comment
