Think I can do some stuff on this too - not so much coding but poking the code around for bugs and reviewing I can probably spend some time on - this is definately an interesting project that could be quite interesting for user interfaces on tablets, imho

..Apologies for the delay everyone..

I have gotten together with a couple of close buddies and we are hammering out where all the bits of the package should go.

If you have an ear and are able to try to answer random questions please pop into #liqbase on freenode and join in the construction of a liqbase package.

I've so far cleaned out the crufty code, ironed out a load of bugs and begun selecting default locations for required media and trying to get some intelligent defaults for data.

I am going as fast as I possibly can

fpp, you are right.
Thats why I've *only* updated the garage svn for now and not yet fixed all niggles like a default sketch location or got a working package yet.

I did build a package tonight but I failed big time, i somehow managed to create a single folder tree which was about 20 levels deep and not right at all - app manager let me install it on my tablet though

So this is a specific call to qwerty12 or some other packager to grab svn and see what ive done wrong. it is 100% live and very nearly works and i've probably just messed up or missed some call in the radically altered install section.

so close.

If yes, then try out the following patch:

The idea is there is no need to use $(DESTDIR)$(BINDIR) during the install as $(BINDIR) already contain $(DESTDIR) :

PREFIX = $(DESTDIR)//usr
BINDIR = $(PREFIX)/bin

And you also need to activate dh_install in the rule file.
