This thread is for reporting bugs and problems and giving feedback in general for Panucci: http://panucci.garage.maemo.org/

(...because people have been posting Panucci-related things in the gPodder thread, which is not the same thing...)

A new version of Panucci (0.2-2) that fixes the "make bookmark while paused" and the "does not resume from previous position" bugs. Also, jumping to a bookmark while the player is paused jumps and resumes playback now.

The new version should be available in Maemo Extras for Chinook and Diablo in a few hours.

i guess i should mention that i have seen the playback jump to 0:00 at times when i hit the fast forward buttons a bit to quickly.

also, would be nice if the bookmarks list was collective, so that one could find out about multiple past files. oh, and maybe a automatic bookmark on exit if a file is currently playing or paused.

The program seems to install OK, but when I run it, absolutely nothing happens. It doesn't appear to load.

I have installed (and removed and reinstalled) panucci this morning and it doesn't start for me either.

When I run it from the shell I see a python Traceback ending with :-
"ImportError: No module named gnome"

Are we missing a dependency of some sort ?

Thanks

Yep, python2.5-gnome is missing as a dependency. Have added that and am uploading the package to Maemo Extras right now

hmm, im getting issues with the ogg-support dependency on 0.2-4...

ah, had to do a uninstall and reinstall of panucci to get it working.

still, ogg-support is not a extra package...

Install the mogg package (available in the chinook extras repo) for ogg support, it'll pull in the right gstreamer plugin.
