I am having real problems with Canola not seeing all of the films and videos loaded onto the card, even after a refresh (I have the card they are stored on checked in the settings).

All of the files were converted with the NIT video converter and there are about 12gb or so of them on the the removable card (is there a limit Canola can see?)

I have tried reinstalling Canola and moving the video files around between cards, but with no success. Canola just seems to randomly pick which ones to see.

I have tried a forum search but couldn't find a solution. This is a real shame for me as I like Canola and use it a lot for its other features and I prefer to use it for videos too, when it works.....

Any help or solution would be much appreciated, thanks.

Edit: I should said I am using the beta-9 version on a N810.

I have upgraded to the beta 11 version but I am still having the problems I described...

Basically when refreshing the video media it says it is processing files (29 in my case) however when I go to the library after that it says no items found.

Could you please run canola with verbose output and send it to me (run it like 'canola -vvv > /media/mmc2/canola.log' from a terminal) ?

I too am having problems with canola beta 11 not seeing all of my videos on mmc1

Thanks for posting that, as I am a bit of a noob, and still getting to grips with xterm.

Thank you! I thought it was just me! If I'm lucky enough to get it to even list the files, it reports that the files are not found when I try to play them. None of the other media players seem to have a problem with playing my MP3 music and the file manager and 'ls -la' aren't showing anything unusual in the files. (I keep them in /media/mmc1/Music/)

This is really weird, which OS version and device are you on ? Could you please attach the output of 'dpkg -l' here ?
