Bluetooth headset are not (yet) supported on the 770.
When it'll be supported, I'm sure you'll be able to connect it at the same time as your mobile phone, GPS & keyboard.
And any will do ...

Or, you can use the built-in microphone.

Hi Fred,

I am a Nokia 770 and I do not want to become Linux expert!

Exactly for this reason Linux loses many users

exactly for this reason M$ dominates the World: people don't like using their brains.

Simply, BT headset have not been scheduled in these releases of the OS, if you like to use one together with N770 you have to understand how it works and hack on it. It is not linux-dependant, the fact is that Nokia didn't foresight this use case or decided to postpone this matter in their roadmap for the product.

It wan't became a flame, this is not a religion war. The N770 is advertised as an internet tablet, the thruth is that it is a palm with a Linux OS. The fact that you can use it this way (and for example to have some road war wifi sessions, or as a remote terminal, or a gstreamer client, or...) is an extra, not something you can pretend!

I agree that it was not a nice thing to say, and IMHO it was wrong as well: I believe M$ dominates because most people see an operating system as a means, not a goal. Luckily, the people at e.g. Ubuntu appear to have grokked that.
