I've found mplayer to be the best all round video player for my n810, but is there any way to create a playlist of videos on the memory card?

You seem to be able to select one video at a time, but there's no kind of 'select all' feature from what I can see or have searched for.

Any help gratefully received.

IMO, most of the power of mplayer is still in the command line. The simplest method you describe would be to play all the files in a folder

Code:
mplayer /path/to/files/*
