Is it possible to delete/uninstall the bundled apps?

I dunno, the bundled apps that do not show up on the app manager.

OK, then let's be more specific: List three of the "applications" you wish to remove.

chess, pdf viewer, help. those things.

There are some packages installed on my N810, like osso-pdf-viewer, osso-pdf-viewer-l10n, osso-help, osso-help-ui, osso-help-l10n (only covering the application, not the content), osso-chess-ui.
You could test (apt on the shell) removing them ("dry run", so to say)...

how do i delete them or unistall them? i have a nokia 810 btw.

the command you would use is apt-get in the terminal.

apt-get remove packagename

will remove a package. Depending on how the dependicies are configured the applications you list may not be removable without breaking or removing other important packages.

if you google for apt-get you'll find lots of documentation about how to use it.

to find the name of a package as sometimes they can be hard to guess you can use

dpkg --search filename

"apt-get remove" sounds like the best option. I had posted instructions on manually deleting programs and menu items on the wiki before. If I find the wiki I'll post a link here*.

For what it's worth, I don't think you gain much space by deleting those. So I don't know the risk vs reward is worth it.

* [edit] It looks like it's gone, here's what I remember. The 'shortcut' you see in the menu is a .desktop file. Search for that. When you find it, open it in a reader and note the .sh 'executable' that it directs to. Once you find both delete them. Note: Make a good backup before you do this as you might delete something importaint. For example, the default pdf viewer is a 'default application' if you doubleclick on a pdf in file manager. I'd expect that to create problems. ** the root name for the .desktop file might be the apt-get name, that sounds much safer than this method.
