i decided to try tear again and lost track of the latest version
i downloaded tear 0.3.1, bookmarks 0.3.1-4 and libwebkit 1.0-1---41137-9
is this the best version -my acid test was 96/100
(Goto Application Manager > File > Tools > Catalogs > add (or new) > input the following)
Catalogue Name: Qole
Web address: http://qole.org/repository
Distribution: maemo
Components: main
Then go into browse installable, and search "tear".
If you knew all that already, then I guess it will be useful to the next reader

Yes, latest has 96/100. As version it is 0.3.1-2. Better use Qole's repo.
