Hi

Perhaps someone can confirm...

Since around 4 days, Modest cannot find/sync mails from 1und1's IMAP Server.
On PC side or mobilephone everything is fine, but Modest wont recognize the IMAP Server anymore or sync with it. 4 days before everything worked fine, also email notification.

PS: 1und1.de offers POP3 too, which is working under Modest...

Someone an idea?!

I'm using Claws Mail with 1&1 IMAP and haven't experienced any problems.

can you please test your IMAP account with Modest? Just to know if the problem is by me or by the provider.

Hmm I don't want to use another mailclient since Modest has a neat notification function. Further it was working until 4-5 days ago... for half a year

I already tried my IMAP accounts from other providers which are working without problems. Only those from 1und1.de won't work... and I've no idea why!

I already contacted the support, but the only told me to enter correct server- and login-data.

I already flashed my device completely new with the latest Diablo image. Without any change... not working.

Doesnt work for me with Modest either, but I assume that it is a Modest problem, as Claws works fine on the same account.

Hmm I don't think so. I synced my mails with Modest and 1und1.de for almost 5 months now. Since middle of the week it won't connect anymore - but I can confirm, that Claws is working.

Seems they have changed something on their IMAP config?!

Veeeery strange!

Can one of you produce a log file according to the instructions here and post the exact error?

Ok, got the log... it's huge...

This shows up several times:

CamelException.setv(0x46340d88, 308, 'IMAP command failed: expected atom instead of "end of data".')
CamelException.setv((nil), 307, 'Server unexpectedly disconnected: Unknown error')
