Hello I have seen several videos on youtube in which I could see the following:

a nokia n800 controlled by:

-Wii Remote
-logitech gamepad usb
-bluetoh gamepad msi bgp -100
-keyboard bluetoh

insurance in the nokia n900 can do the same but the big question is:

Could you play 2 players at a time in the phone? example: a friend and I

shuffle options:

-two Controls by bgp100 msi bluetoh
-1 gamepad by usb and a other gamepad for bluetoh
-1 gamepad for bluetoh and 1 keyboard bluetoh
-1 keyboard by bluetoh-and 1 usb gamepad
-Mobile-using keyboard command and the other player by usb / bluetoh gamepad or keyboard bluetoh
-or the Wii Remote to any of the other options

as good linux maemo, nokia n900 and the power is sufficient hardware and ram with the new firmware nokia n900 (rx-51) v1.2009.42

although the resources increase, I think we could do, and so play play station emulator existing or future ports de nintendo 64, dreamcast, psp??? pandora console to n900

play as well if it would be a last

you and your friend in a bar pouring some Cokes playing the 2 to tekken 3 for example jeje

it is possible, i think

when any developer have nokia n900 could do it, i think

USB gamepads aren't probably going to work due to hardware limitations of the n900. Wiimote has been demoed and it works really well. PSX emulator has good chances of being ported, but anything newer than that are doubtful.

The PSX emutor is only rumored, but it might become a reality, we'll see. However, there are some interesting gaming stuff already availible for the N900.

Quake 3 for N900:

SNES for N900:

How about the two player idea for example with two wii controllers, could the N900 support that?

It'd be great to be able to play some old nintendo games multiplayer, just bring the N900 go to a friends house, hook it up to a TV and play away with your friend!

no usb host -> no usb gamepad. N900 is better mostly, but fails on that area.

I'm sure it could be rigged eventualy... But the N900 as a home entertainment device is not a good reason to buy the phone. I'm thinkin' wifey and the kids would feel gypped if you used that rational.

I'd put it in the possible not probable column.

Video out certainly has entertainment value but more as a rational to leave the lappy home while traveling... not something the whole family would enjoy sitting around the home theater. Take 'em bowling or something.

But....what if we use just one gamepad? for example, the Wii controller...we know that the Wii controller works, there's a video on youtube showing how a guy plays snes with it.
So...could we configure the Wii controller as second player and we just use the N900 as first player gamepad? I don't know, sorry if it is hard to understand :P
