I'm pretty angry!!

I sent my N900 for repair with the broken microphone problem as early adopters will be familiar with.

I have eagerly awaited it's return from Nokia UK service centre.

It arrived nicely shrinking wrapped and boxed.

The microphone still does not work... FFS!

Looks like it's sent back untouched, pretty disgraceful.

I give up.

That's shocking. I'd be well pissed off! Can you call them?

He could, but they wouldn't hear him.

Sorry.

Seriously, I feel your pain. I've been very lucky to have a perfectly working device, and I hug it close when I read about all the poorly ones out there...

Thats not good, i would demand a replacement instead of fixing it as you have been without the phone since you got it basically all they sent you was a very expensive vibrator which is rediculous.

Seriously stay on the phone until you get a brand new one they have a duty to replace it under warrenty especially as they have failed to fix it

So sorry to hear about that Duffer! This really does take the mick.
They are probably stalling until they have replacements anyway.
I'd really love to go straight for the refund myself - if I didn't really want the device too!
All the best anyway - I'll update if I ever hear anything about mine too!

No warning, it just arrived via UPS. Yeah stalling sounds about right.

I'll phone them tomorrow... On my N82

Yeah - good luck with that - maybe mine will turn up tomorrow - not sure what state!

I know this is probably wishful thinking - but I take it you tried reboots and all that - as in it couldn't quite be fixed, but now being caught by the other intermittent microphone problem? I seriously doubt it - but there was always hope!

Will you be phoning the Nokia care line? I find the staff really nice and friendly - but they don't seem to listen to what people say too well - hopefully that is luck of the draw though!

Well - what a great xmas present! I hope you get something sorted soon!
