In 'settings', choose 'profile' and scroll down to choose a MP3 or other ringtone.. I guess you will need another tool on your PC, if you don't want the intro of the MP3. Succes

You could use audacity on your PC to do this and then copy the created mp3 to your N900.

Maybe sometime in the future there will be audacity for the N900
- maybe someone asks the maintainers ^^?
