I know its fairly simple to go on nationalrail.co.uk with the excellent n900 browser. but it can be data intensive. does anyone know of a web scrapping app being developed for the n900 to access train times with minimum fuss and data usage? or a fast simple low bandwidth site?

FYI, related discussion here (stick with it, it's not just about the London underground by the end!)
